  • Sun Salutation

Stand with feet slightly apart parallel to each other, stretch arms gently around with an arc to meet with palms overhead.

If your shoulders are tight don’t join palms ; if you are more flexible, bend towards the back looking up at your hands.

Fall forward releasing your hands touching the tips of fingers to your toes or as far as you can go. Release your neck. Let it hang heavy and release any tension.

Swing side to side if need be.

Put hands on knees and make chest parallel to floor, slide the hands back down to the feet as far as you can go.

 

  • Downward Dog

Jump or step the feet back to downward dog. You can move the calves for a deeper stretch.

  • Runners Stretch

Raise one leg in downward dog and step the foot forward between the palms of your hand .I wil give the example of the right leg back and left leg forward.now you can either keep the right knee lifted or place it on the floor.

Stretch deep to get your quadriceps.

  • Hamstring Stretch
  • Now straighten the left leg, right knee on floor and bend toward the left foot. Chest on thigh.
  • Warrior 2

Raise the legs into warrior 2 pose, switch the position of legs and repeat on other side

  • Arm Stretch

Place right hand below left elbow and stretch. Now do triceps stretch

Shake it out and take 3 deep breaths.
